After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at İstanbul University, one of Turkey’s most prestigious medical faculties, in 2015, Dr.  Bayraktar successfully passed the national examination for medical graduates and secured a residency in the Ophthalmology Department at Bezmialem Vakif University. Currently, she is serving at the University of Health Sciences, Basaksehir Cam and Sakura City Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey. Her primary focus areas (clinical and research) include pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and retinopathy of prematurity. At Ther-AI LLC, she is part of our clinical team at iLIGN project (NIH funded SBIR phase-I project). Dr. Bayraktar was visiting researcher at institutions like Brown University and Harvard Medical School.
